If you were Joss, what would you have done differently with the show? Any changes with events, characters, etc?

Great topic! I think the one big thing I'd of done different is Buffy would not have died. That still bugs me when I watch repeats, that she died and they brought her back. For me it just threw the whole show out of whack to an extent.

Good one. I thought her coming back was weird too. i know they had to keep the show running longer and you cant do that withouth buffy, but it was too weird. I don't think i would've let WIllow get so bad either. i didn't like the storyline a whole lot when she got all wicked.

Wicked Willow was crazy, but I thought it kept things really interesting.

This is a really great thread! Umm... I'll have to think about some things, but I may have some great ideas when I post again!

I would have killed Riley... somehow; preferably Buffy cutting his head off.

Oh, I'm so agreeing with you. I never did like Riley. From beginning to end, he annoying me to death. I wanted to chop my own head off.
And as much as I LOVE Willow just the way she is and I wouldn't have loved the show as much without Tara, I think I would have kept Willow straight because I've always wanted a whole lot more of Willow/Xander.

Oh, I know! I really wish the show would've had them together. They were so awkward and cute together.

I watched the first few minutes of When She Was Bad today just to see them being all cute and stuff. And I REALLY can't wait to get S3 on DVD because I want to watch those episodes. Even though it's terrible what they do to Oz and Cordy, I just love seeing them together. Without all the not good stuff that happens, that's the kind of relationship I've always wanted. To be with my best friend. But maybe Tara could have come along in a different way. Not just as Willow's girlfriend. I don't know. I'm confusing myself now.

Oh good. Atleast someone knows what I mean. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that.

I think it was cool that Tara was a witch, but to add to what Skit was saying, I would have made it so that she was the re-coporealiztion of a wiccan idol but of course she had not memory of that. That way she would have a lot of raw power and bits and pieces of her past could be learned or remembered throughout the season/series.

i think i would have had Angel finally become human, and have him and Buffy do the big battle together and stuff in Sunnydale. well ok maybe him fight as vamp then become human, so they could be together. i just was always a B/A fanatic, more than a Spuffy one, and i always had hoped Buffy would end that way.
