CONVENTIONS!
I spent my entire weekend at Screaming Tiki Convention (Niles, OH). Luckily, it was held at my local mall. I met Adam West and Lee Meriwether (Batman and Catwoman from '66, incase you don't know your geek history). I actually paid $100 and attended a banquet with the two of them Friday night. Of course, it wasn't just me and them. But it was limited to 50 tickets, so I still feel very lucky to have been there. At the con, I bought a few things to add to my Buffy merch collection. I got the Spike 'Just Rewards' action figure, the Willow 'Dopplegangland' figure, three card sets (Spike, the Women of Sunnydale, and the Men of Sunnydale), a Spike comic (they only had issue three. I have to look around for the first two.), AAAANNNNNDDD a Sunnydale High School decal that is already on the back window of my car. I'm very satisfied with the shopping I did. And I've decided that this will NOT be the last convention I go to. I had a lot of fun. You can see pictures on my myspace. Backslash skankzila. ANYWAY I babbled. I miss you guys. I'll try to be on more.

I'm glad to hear you had such a great time. In my opinion Julie Newmar is the best catwoman from that show but I'm envious just the same. As for the stuff you bought, it sounds like a nice haul. You're right, it would've been better with the other 2 comics, happy bargaining hunting there

She wasn't so nice. And she has had WAY too much plastic surgery. I don't mean to talk bad about her, but she threw a fit because of where they wanted her to sit friday night. It was kind of pathetic. But Lee M was a sweetheart.

Oh yeah, the pics are awesome. That is my favourite batmobile to date. For those interested to know, it was designed from a 1955 concept car, the Lincoln Futura. As for her fit, it's always good to have a healthy dose of reality every once and again, it reminds you that you don't envy them so much Oh yeah, here is a treat! A pic of Yvonne Craig in the batmobile: www.1966batmobile.com/dany.jpg

oh wow that sounds totally fun, and hey again everyone, lol.
conventions are totally awesome, i wanna this time finally make it to the Twilight Zone con here in Cali next yr. they have a lot of older actors there and stuff, wish Adam and Lee had done a Zone, well Julie Newmar has anyways lol.
and cool u got some Buffy memoriabilia, ok i so can't spell tonite lol. if u can u should try and get both covers for the first issue of Spike cuz one is him all vampy and the other is human looking human, usually i just get one cover for my comics but i decided to get both covers of that one.
the Buffy comics are much better storylines than the Spike or Angel ones but i collect them every month just the same, hehe.
anyways cool hearing from u again on her Skit, i was just thinking about this place cuz it had been so long, and decided to stop on by. wow u started this 4 yrs ago, man time does go by. anyways late. oh and i saw the MySpace pics, pretty cool.

It was a lot of fun. And I did get both covers. Haha. Four years seems like such a long time. I was only 16 when this thing started! Now I feel old.
